Q1. What are 3 words that you would use to describe yourself?
I am joyful, ambitious and helpful.
Q2. What drew you to RocketShip HQ originally? How has the company changed since?
One of my former colleagues introduced me to Rocketship HQ. The company had everything I wanted – to learn, to work with different types of marketing and to grow in my career. Since I started with Rocketship, the company has grown both in clients and people.
Q3. What do you like about your job?
I love that I am able to use my creativity and learn new things daily. Also, I like that in my job, I have the ability to grow and become more than just a designer.
Q4. What has been your proudest moment at RocketShip HQ?
My proudest moment at Rocketship HQ was when one of the designers told me that he was happy to learn from me.
Q5. What is a typical workday like for you?
There is no typical day! You make every day what you want it to be. That is what is great about Rocketship HQ – you get to plan out your day as you want. I start Mondays updating my design sheets to let everyone know what kind of assets have been created by our design team. Also on Mondays, I plan out the week with the design team, setting up concepts to work on.
During the rest of the week, I work on the concepts, which are mainly videos, animations and images. Every design concept is different, which is also why it is great.

Q6. What was a key inflection/turning point in your career?
I had just started out as a junior graphic designer, and there I met one of my former colleagues and colleague now, Sharath. He turned my career around. When I started, I showed him what I could do by working on a small project for him. After that project, he accepted my work not as a junior but a senior designer! He tested out my work and said that it was constantly winning compared to what other seniors had been making! This encouraged me to keep on working on more designs, videos and animations.
Q7. Tell us about a mentor or a person who has inspired or influenced you significantly.
Sharath, my colleague and advisor to Rocketship HQ, has influenced me a lot. He isn’t just a friend, but he has always been there to help me grow and think about how to get ahead.

Q9. Tell us about your favorite travel & food spots or experiences (feel free to include more than 1).
I once traveled to Egypt, and it was an amazing experience. I was alone and got to know a lot of people. The food was great there and people were so nice!
Q10. What do you do for fun?
I love to watch sci-fi movies and series, like Superman and Lois, and Westworld, as well as some anime like Attack on Titan.
I also love to draw characters from anime and comics, like Superman, Batman and such. I also love gaming with my friends, with some of my favorites being League of Legends, Lost Ark and Fortnite.
Q11. What are the top 3 items on your bucket list?
- Go on a road trip in the USA, and maybe have a burger eating trip!
- Go to Japan and travel around seeing sights and new places.
- Start a burger joint, or a restaurant for Arabic and Middle Eastern food.
Q12. What is a fun fact about yourself that not many people might know?
One of the first movies that I ever watched was Superman, who is actually one of my favorite heroes, which is also why I love flying and why I wanted to become a pilot. But because of my eyes, I couldn’t. Maybe one day, I’ll try to fly a helicopter!
