Q1. What are three 3 words that you would use to describe yourself?
Curious, creative and adaptable
Q2. What drew you to RocketShip HQ originally? How has the company changed since?
I was drawn to RocketShip HQ because of the creative environment and the opportunity to work on different apps and gaming projects. Since joining, I’ve seen the team grow while keeping that fast-paced and collaborative culture.
Q3. What do you like about your job?
I love bringing creative ideas to life and working on different projects that challenge me to think differently. Every day feels a little different, which keeps the work exciting.
Q4. What has been your proudest moment at RocketShip HQ?
My proudest moments have been seeing my creative ideas turn into actual ad concepts and being able to contribute to projects from the strategy stage all the way to execution.
Q5. What is a typical workday like for you?
A typical day involves working on creative briefs, reviewing concepts and footage, collaborating with designers and creators, and making sure projects are moving forward smoothly.
CAREER JOURNEY
Q6. What was a key inflection/turning point in your career?
A key turning point was moving into performance marketing and later into creative strategy. It helped me combine my analytical side with my creativity and find a career path I genuinely enjoy.
Q7. Tell us about a mentor or a person who has inspired or influenced you significantly.
I’ve been fortunate to learn from several people throughout my career, but I’m especially inspired by people who are always willing to share knowledge and push others to grow. Their mindset has encouraged me to stay curious and keep improving.
Q8. What are some of the key lessons you’ve learned over the course of your career?
I’ve learned that being adaptable, asking questions, and being open to feedback can take you a long way. You don’t need to know everything—you just need to be willing to learn and improve.
BEYOND WORK
Q9. Tell us about your favorite travel & food spots or experiences (feel free to include more than 1).
For travel, I absolutely love exploring Northern Pakistan, the mountains, beautiful views, and peaceful atmosphere are hard to beat. For food, I’m a big fan of desi Lahori food, especially chicken karahi, and I can never say no to street food like dahi bhallay and channa chaat!
Q10. What do you do for fun?
I love exploring new cafes and restaurants, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also a huge FRIENDS fan, so rewatching episodes is always a good time!
Q11. What are the top 3 items on your bucket list?
Travel to more countries and experience different cultures, explore the Northern Areas of Pakistan more, and go on a long road trip with family or friends.
Q12. What is a fun fact about yourself that not many people might know?
I’m extremely observant, sometimes I notice things I wish I hadn’t.
