Meet Priyansha, a curious thinker with a knack for spotting the details others miss. At RocketShip HQ, she’s diving into the world of content, strategy, and operations, embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. Whether she’s planning content, exploring new workflows, or figuring out the “why” behind great communication, Priyansha brings a thoughtful and reliable approach to everything she does.
Outside of work, you’ll find her café hopping, painting, singing at karaoke nights, or dreaming about one day opening a cozy coffee spot near the mountains. Equal parts observant, adaptable, and quietly ambitious, Priyansha is always learning, one step at a time.
The work at Rocketship HQ
What are three 3 words that you would use to describe yourself?
Curious, reliable, observant
What do you like about your job?
I enjoy the balance between creativity and planning in my work.
Right now, my day mostly involves audits, planning, scheduling, content related work and learning tools like Clickup and Notion. As I slowly step into creative strategy as well, I can already see there’s a lot more to learn. Since I’m still new, I also enjoy slowly understanding how everything works behind the scenes.
I also really appreciate the flexibility and the ability to manage my work in a way that fits my routine.
What is a typical workday like for you?
Right now, my workday mostly involves content related tasks, audits, planning, scheduling and a lot of learning.
Since I’m still new, a big part of my day also goes into understanding workflows, tools and processes while slowly getting comfortable with everything. No two days feel exactly the same yet, which keeps things interesting.
CAREER JOURNEY
What was a key inflection/turning point in your career?
A key turning point in my career was when I started working more closely with social media operations in a media focused environment.
That experience changed the way I looked at content and marketing. Over time, I realized I was more interested in the thinking behind communication : understanding audience behavior, positioning and creative direction rather than just execution alone. That shift is what gradually pushed me toward strategy oriented work alongside content marketing.
Tell us about a mentor or a person who has inspired or influenced you significantly.
I think a lot of people influence you in small ways throughout your life and career and I’ve definitely learned something from different people I’ve worked with.
But if I had to name one person, it would be my mother. I’ve always been inspired by the way she handles situations with patience, strength and balance. Watching her manage different things so calmly has influenced me a lot.
What are some of the key lessons you’ve learned over the course of your career?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you don’t need to have everything figured out immediately.
Over time, I’ve realized that being adaptable, consistent and open to learning matters much more than trying to know everything from day one. I’ve also learned that good communication and reliability go a long way in any team or work environment.
BEYOND WORK
Tell us about your favorite travel & food spots or experiences (feel free to include more than.
One of my favorite travel memories is from exploring Bombay with my cousin.
We were trying to find Colaba Causeway using Google Maps, but after walking for almost 20 minutes, we somehow ended up at a sabzi mandi instead of the shopping market we were looking for. After asking around and laughing at ourselves for getting lost, we finally made it to the right place. (after another 20 min)
That entire day ended up becoming more memorable than the shopping itself.
I also loved visiting Britannia & Co. and trying their berry pulao and raspberry soda.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy cafe hopping, binge watching Netflix series, painting when I’m stressed and occasionally playing badminton.
I also really enjoy karaoke nights and dancing, even though I’m definitely not professionally good at either. I think hobbies should be more about enjoying yourself than trying to be perfect at them.
What are the top 3 items on your bucket list?
- Getting back into reading regularly
- Building a fitness routine and staying consistent with it
- Finally going to Bangalore to meet a friend I promised I’d visit last year
What is a fun fact about yourself that not many people might know?
I think people assume I enjoy fast paced environments all the time, but over the past few years I’ve realized I’m actually more of a slow life person.
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of someday living closer to the mountains and opening a small coffee place where I can brew coffee and create a calm space for people to just slow down a little.
