Q1. What are three 3 words that you would use to describe yourself?
Curious, Focused, Determined.
Q2. What drew you to RocketShip HQ originally? How has the company changed since?
In 2019, I started dabbling in mobile app marketing as a freelancer. Through networking, I managed to score some sweet gigs and eventually found myself at Rocketship HQ.
I was excited to learn more about the industry and was fortunate to be part of an agency that I knew would show me the ropes.
Q3. What do you like about your job?
As a Creative Strategist, I take great pleasure in the creative process of turning abstract ideas into compelling ads. Witnessing an ad come to life from inception to launch is truly satisfying.
Q4. What is a typical workday like for you?
First things first, I kick off my workday by making the perfect cup of coffee. Once I’m fueled up, it’s time to get down to business. I fire up my computer and check for any important updates that need my attention. After that, I touch base with my team to see where we’re at on our projects. Once we’re all on the same page, I dive into my tasks and start getting things done.

Q5. What was a key inflection/turning point in your career?
In 2019, I established a connection with a solo app developer who expressed interest in obtaining content for his Facebook Ad campaigns. Due to my limited experience in the field, I was initially hesitant to initiate contact. However, upon discovering that he sought meme-style creatives, which aligned with my previous experience of growing Instagram theme pages during my time in college, I decided to pursue the opportunity. The turning point occurred following the initial feedback regarding the ad campaign’s performance, which was exceedingly positive and led to a lasting collaboration with the developer.
Q6. Tell us about a mentor or a person who has inspired or influenced you significantly.
I attribute a significant amount of my inspiration to the app developer mentioned earlier, as his guidance and teachings have been invaluable in fueling my interest in this industry.

Q7. What do you do for fun?
When I have some downtime, you can find me skiing – my all-time favorite activity. I’ve been hitting the slopes since I was a wee tot of 3, and it’s remained a passion of mine ever since. If I’m not flying down a mountain, I’m usually spending time with loved ones, or going on wild adventures.
Q8. What are the top 3 items on your bucket list?
My top 3 bucket list items are skiing in the Swiss Alps, going skydiving, and starting my own business one day.
Q9. What is a fun fact about yourself that not many people might know?
I’m terrible at cooking, and by terrible, I mean I set off the smoke alarm trying to make toast. Why? Because I lack the sense of smell, and nope, I didn’t lose it due to Covid – I was born without it.
I’ve come to realize over the years that I’m not the only one in this “aroma-free” club. It’s like being part of a secret society, except instead of handshakes, we just give each other a blank stare when someone asks if we can smell something.
