Digital Culture Experience – End User License Agreement (EULA)
(Operated by Rocketship HQ OÜ)

Welcome to Android and iOS mobile applications published by Rocketship HQ OÜ under names including "Digital Culture Experience" ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using any of our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Apps.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using our Apps, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if younger
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

2. APPS COVERED

These Terms apply to all Android and iOS mobile applications published by Rocketship HQ OÜ under names including Digital Culture Experience, including but not limited to:

  • Kannada Calendar 2026
  • Hindi Calendar 2026
  • Other regional calendar applications
  • Other apps distributed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or other official app stores

3. LICENSE GRANT

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the App on devices you own or control
  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures
  • Use automated systems to access the App

4. APP FEATURES & PERMISSIONS

Location Permission

  • Our Apps request location access to provide accurate sunrise/sunset times and Panchanga calculations
  • Location access is OPTIONAL – you can deny permission and the app will use default location settings
  • Location data is processed locally on your device only
  • See our Privacy Policy for complete details on location data handling

Notifications

  • Our Apps may send local notifications for daily Panchanga, festivals, and reminders
  • You can enable/disable notifications in the app settings
  • Notification preferences are stored locally on your device

5. CONTENT DISCLAIMER

Panchanga & Calendar Information

  • Our Apps provide Hindu Panchanga (almanac) information including tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, and auspicious timings
  • This information is calculated using standard astronomical algorithms and traditional Hindu calendar systems
  • While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the absolute correctness of all calculations
  • For important religious ceremonies or events, we recommend consulting with local priests or pandits

Auspicious Days (Muhurtha)

  • The auspicious days and muhurtha times provided are based on traditional Hindu astrology
  • These should be used for general guidance only
  • We are not responsible for any decisions made based on this information

Festival & Holiday Information

  • Festival dates are based on the Hindu lunar calendar and may vary by region
  • Government holiday dates are based on official Karnataka/India government notifications
  • We recommend verifying important dates with official sources

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content within our Apps, including but not limited to:

  • App design and user interface
  • Icons, graphics, and visual elements
  • Text content and translations
  • Software code
  • Panchanga calculation algorithms

…is owned by Rocketship HQ OÜ or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Traditional Knowledge

  • Hindu calendar systems, Panchanga elements, and religious concepts are part of shared cultural heritage
  • Our implementation and presentation of these concepts is our intellectual property

7. PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy at:

Key points:

  • Location data is processed locally only – never sent to our servers
  • Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, Apple services, and other SDKs or platform services may process pseudonymous analytics, diagnostics, advertising IDs, installation IDs, app interactions, crash logs, and related device/app metadata where applicable
  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or account information through the Apps
  • We do not sell personal data or transfer your precise device location to our servers

8. ADVERTISEMENTS

Our Apps may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob or other app-store-compliant advertising providers where applicable. These ads:

  • Help us keep the app free for users
  • May use advertising IDs, app set IDs, app interactions, diagnostics, and coarse location inferred from IP address for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention where available
  • Are subject to Google's advertising policies
  • Can be managed through your device's ad settings

9. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Accuracy Disclaimer

  • Panchanga calculations are based on astronomical algorithms and may have minor variations
  • Festival dates may differ from local observances
  • Sunrise/sunset times are approximate and depend on location accuracy

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROCKETSHIP HQ OÜ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data or any damages arising from reliance on app information
  • Any decisions made based on muhurtha or auspicious day recommendations
  • Incorrect sunrise/sunset or Panchanga timings

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rocketship HQ OÜ from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Apps or violation of these Terms.

10. TERMINATION

By You
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

By Us
We may discontinue the App or any features at any time without notice.

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

11. CHANGES TO THE APP & TERMS

App Changes
We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, update, or discontinue any App or feature at any time
  • Add or remove content
  • Update Panchanga data for new years
  • Change the design or functionality

Terms Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Apps shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.

For EU consumers: You may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.

13. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rocketship HQ OÜ regarding the Apps.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Language: These Terms may be provided in multiple languages. In case of conflict, the English version prevails.
